Mandatory Deposit
You must pay a deposit of 2.000 DKK before you start the Official Danish Language Course as an international working or studying in Denmark. You must choose your language center (or choose Online Classes) to make the payment. Please note that the deposit is refundable when you pass a test within a given time frame.

About the deposit
The Official Danish Language Course is divided into modules. You must pay a deposit of 2.000 kr. prior to commencing a module.
The 2.000 kr. are to be paid to the language centre and will be reimbursed if you finish the module within a defined deadline. The deadlines are outlined below. This means for example, that you have 6 months to finish module 1, if you wish to have your deposit reimbursed.
The language center will provide you with more information regarding the rules for reimbursement. You can also watch the video below and learn more. The course itself is free of charge.
You do not have to pay the deposit if you are in Denmark as an au-pair.
