Medborgerskabsprøven is an exam that can be part of your application for permanent residence in Denmark. Medborgerskabsprøven is a test to show one's degree of integration by testing one's familiarity with Danish social conditions as well as Danish culture and history. You have 30 minutes to answer the test's 25 multiple-choice questions. To pass Medborgerskabsprøven, you must answer correctly on at least 20 out of the 25 questions.
The test is held twice a year at A2B's language centers, typically in May and November.

Arrival Time
You show up for Medbogerskabsprøven at your local language center.You should arrive well in advance for the test - at least 10 minutes early.
Bring valid identification
To participate in the Medborgerskabsprøven, you must bring a photo ID. The ID must be one of the following types:
- Residence card, alien's passport, convention passport, or a driver's license issued by a public authority in Denmark.
- Passport, identity card, or driver's license issued by a public authority in another EU/EEA member state or Switzerland.
- A passport issued by a public authority in a country other than the aforementioned countries, with an inserted residence sticker.

During the test
The Ministry's guidelines for Medborgerskabsprøven are as follows:
- At the beginning of the test, the test booklets will be distributed. You should write your name, CPR number, and test number on the front of the test booklet and answer the questions inside the booklet.
- If you believe you have answered a question incorrectly, you can correct your answer during the test time. Any corrections must be clearly marked. This means that a response you regret must be crossed out.
Pay special attention to the rules during the test:
- You may not bring dictionaries or the like to the test. You must also not bring a mobile phone, smartwatch, music player, or similar technical equipment.
- You may not have contact with the other test participants during the test.
- You must raise your hand if you want to speak to a supervisor. You may not leave your seat without permission from a supervisor, even if you only need to use the restroom. You may not leave your seat during the first and last quarter of the test time.
- The supervisor will announce when the 30 minutes of test time have elapsed. You may not leave your seat until the supervisor has collected your answers and confirmed receipt. You may not remove the test materials from the room.
- Violation of these rules may result in expulsion.
